CCAP is the Government of Namibia's flagship programme for scaling conservation agriculture among smallholders. Implemented by MAWLR with FAO technical support. Provides ripper-tine ploughs (or subsidised hire), improved-variety seed, and embedded extension support. Documented yield gains of 30–80% over conventional tillage. Strongly aligned with Namibia's NDC commitments on agricultural emissions.
Eligibility
- Smallholder farmer in a participating region (all north-central regions, parts of Kavango and Zambezi)
- Willing to commit to CA practices for at least 2 seasons
- Plot 0.5 ha or larger
What you'll need
- Plot location (region, constituency, GPS or village name)
- Household ID (head-of-household National ID)
- Plot size
- Previous crop history (last 2 seasons)
